Ad blocking
Twitch puts its ads into the video playlist itself, so they can't be hidden from the page. Instead, streams can load their playlist through a proxy server in a country where Twitch shows no ads, the way PurpleTV does. Only the playlist goes through it; the video comes straight from Twitch.
Ad-free playlist serverIf it doesn't answer within 5 seconds, Twitch's own playlist is used (with ads) and a notice tells you. If that keeps happening, pick another server.

The proxy server sees which channels you watch, not your Twitch account.
Subscriber-only streams may not play through it.
On channels you're subscribed to, players logged in to twitch.tv already skip ads.
Ad blocking needs the Multistream browser extension (version 1.13.0 or newer) or the Android app : Twitch's embedded player doesn't let other sites change where it loads streams from.
Audio compressor
Optional dynamic range compression for the players: loud sounds are turned down and quiet ones brought up, so the volume stays even. It uses a DynamicsCompressorNode from the Web Audio API, like FrankerFaceZ.
Compressor settings
To use the audio compressor on this website, install the Multistream browser extension (version 1.12.0 or newer): Twitch's embedded player doesn't let other sites process its sound.
Browser extension
Not installed in this browser.
The website works without it. The extension adds what a website can't do by itself, using your twitch.tv login in this browser:
Twitch's own player Streams play in the player twitch.tv uses, so your watch time earns channel points and your subscriptions skip ads.
Channel points Your balance next to the chat, bonus chests claimed automatically, and bets on predictions.
Choose who earns With more than two streams open, pick the two that earn watch time (1.11.0).
Player tools Latency reducer, exact quality picks and pinch zoom (1.8.0), audio compressor (1.12.0).
Ad blocking Playlists from an ad-free proxy server (1.13.0), see Ad blocking.
Works in Chrome and Brave on a computer, and in Firefox on a computer or on Android. Your Twitch session never leaves the extension: the site only receives balances and claim results.
Android app
You're using the Multistream app.
Multistream as an Android app: the same site and settings, with everything the extension does built in, in a browser engine that plays every stream at 1080p60 (Firefox on Android drops some to about 40fps).
Channel points Watch time with your twitch.tv login, balances, predictions, and bonus chests claimed automatically after you link the app once at twitch.tv/activate.
No ads Ad blocking is on by default (see Ad blocking).
All player tools Latency reducer, compressor, pinch zoom, exact qualities.
Needs Android 11 or newer. It isn't on Google Play: you install the file from this site, and Android asks you to allow that once.
The app isn't published on this site yet.
